Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa has designated Mercy – Dubuque as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement. Mercy is the only hospital in the Dubuque area to receive these designations.
